A ‘lightbulb moment‘ can come when working with your inner senses or your inner modalities, because the more you use them at will, as if they are real, the more you can potentially create the future life you want to live!

By listening to your body you become aware of your limits, your life boundaries, realising there are times when you should say no, accepting what’s right for you not what others expect of you. When you experience burnout you may become unwell which can lead to fatigue, depression, chronic pain, stress or anxiety, so finding your inner strength to preserve your energy matters for the sake of your health & wellbeing.

You may be familiar with the ‘The Raisin Exercise’, a mindfulness exercise that focuses on a tiny piece of fruit is a way to be more present as it focuses on the enjoyment of seeing, touching, eating this raisin or nut, opening up your mind to being the present, more mindful, without any preconceived or judgmental thoughts.

With Sophro Balance we use all the senses to feel more present, and we expand on these frequently during the course of a session. We take the time to listen to our bodies, listen to our inner vibrations or any sensations, and by integrating these several times into our practice we reinforce them more fully. So, similarly to the raisin exercise, but with higher intensity, the focus on our inner senses enables awareness of the whole body along with the breath, movement and visualisations which can be very powerful!

“If we are not aware that we are happy, then we are not really happy.”

-Thich Nhat Hanh-

Be mindful, be present, and stop overthinking the mind-chatter, do one thing at a time, slow down and live a more mindful life!
