Then let that memory go…return to where you are now, bring your awareness back to the moment, focus on your breath, the air going in and the going out….
What sensations do you notice in your body now?
Then…go back to another time in your life when you felt really happy…it can be from your childhood again but search for something that brought you true happiness…perhaps it was a moment with your parents, your siblings or your friends, or maybe a special Birthday or Christmas celebration, but a moment when you felt really, really happy…
Take all the time that you need and be aware of any feelings deep inside you right now…breathe in fully, hold the breath…notice every sensation in your body…
Where are you feeling that right now?
The reason we do this is to take our practice to another level, to enhance what we experience by bringing our awareness to the temperature of the body, the weight of the body and the size of the body. We take the time to breathe, using positivity to remind ourselves that the whole body, our glands, our cells, our muscles, our skin and bones must work together in harmony to thrive!
