The biggest organ of the body can get damaged due to stress, the elements, illness, or medications so we must do our best to ensure we give it our full attention…

We need to take care of ourselves as anything that causes us stress can have profound repercussions on our overall health and in the event of a breakout we must seek the best way to manage our own condition in order to recover fully.

The SKIN, the biggest organ of the body, it protects us from bacteria, susceptible to the weather, a waterproof layer that stops us soaking up water like a sponge, and takes quite a beating when we subject it to manmade products or enhancements.  It’s well-known that we need moisturisers and creams to remedy skin problems, but adding mindfulness and relaxation to the mix could help to overcome some of the symptoms you may be experiencing.

Sophro Balance incorporates various guided practices that focus on the organs of the body, the skin, the bones, the muscles, and the cells, enabling you to delve deeper into your inner awareness. This can be healing for your physical body, complementing your skin care routine, and helps by improving your overall sense of wellbeing.  Mindful relaxation through guided techniques works from the inside out by helping you reconnect your body & mind so you feel free to be happy again!

There are several skin conditions that affect people everyday and here are just a few that can be troubling for many:

Skin Repair Care Routine

The most important thing you can do for your skin, is to hydrate the skin providing immediate relief from your condition. Always consult a health professional for anything more serious that’s concerning you:

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise, then moisturise some more…

Step 1 – Cleanse – Usually done using unscented soap to remove dirt and grime or make up if wearing any, and finish by patting your face dry with a soft towel or face cloth.

Step 2 – Toner – For your dry or sensitive skin use hydrating ingredients such as ‘Hyaluronic acid, and glycerine’ to help draw out moisture or ‘ceramides’ for boosting the skin barrier.

Step 3 – Moisturise – Ideally with ‘ceramide’ as this will also firm and smooth the skin even further, thereby reducing the first signs of aging if that is your main concern.

Step 4 – Serum Boosters – Choose lightweight, easily absorbed formulas for normal to mature skin, that delivers a smoothing action that enhances your skin’s youthful look.

Step 5 – Mask & Exfoliate – A deeply nourishing skin care routine will help by giving you radiant-looking skin all day long, forming a protective layer for your skin.

Creating healthy lifestyle habits means including a well-balanced diet, and adding protein for menopausal women or doing exercise, which will all help to regulate the stress hormones in your body, which in turn can have very positive effects on your skin, hair, and overall wellbeing.
