Meno’Pause’ Time!

Many symptoms that occur in perimenopause may appear to lessen in menopause but when exactly does that happen?

Three Basic Stages: Perimenopause may mean low mood, brain fog, insomnia, aches & pains, stress or anxiety, skin dryness, and vaginal dryness for some women in menopause but hot flashes are by far the most common symptom.  About 75pct of all women will have these sudden, brief, periodic increases in their body temperature, usually before a woman’s last period.  When the ovaries have stopped producing eggs, the levels of oestrogen have declined, and 12 months have elapsed with no period this is menopause, after which you are considered to be post-menopausal.

However, this is the time to celebrate, pause, and enjoy your life. The hard work is done!
